Works well, but needs lots of buffing
This worked great once I figure it out!Okay, if you have never waxed a board before (like I had not) then this is going to be a learning process. The steps below will help if you’re like me and you put on too much wax on your first go.1. The wax may become clumpy and flakey looking when applied. It’s fine, I promise.2. BUFF THE EVER LIVING CRAP OUT OF IT. I mean it. I gave it a wee buff with the cork top and it flattened the clumps, but still looked sketchy. Then I wrapped a 1.5” steel bearing ball in microfiber cloth—game changer. Those clumps get spread evenly and the metal ball holds enough low heat to make the wax more movable.3. Buff it again. Buff it until the bottom of your board looks like a frosted stein (because of the wax layer, not from scratching).4. Flip that microfiber cloth around and give it a good wipe to remove any dust. You should have some moderate sheen if it’s compressed enough. To be clear, this process and my errors were not the fault of the product, which is why I gave it 5 stars. This product clearly works well for application, I just went overboard on my initial application. I’ll update after I try a ride on it.

Works well in a pinch!
I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked on my skis... my skis were between proper waxes and I wanted to see how well this rub-on wax would hold up on warmer packed powder turning icy conditions. I was able to glide over powder, packed powder, icy-ish and then hard frozen crud snow as temps got colder. The wax held up all day. I'd probably need to inspect the condition of the rub-on wax before I skied again - probably would need a re-application. But overall I'm very happy with this temporary wax solution! FWIW: 170 carving skis. Rocky Mtn blue/red groomers (which weren't groomed lol)

Buy a separate cork and brush
The wax itself works great, and as advertised. Hit your skis with a hair dryer first for easy application. I would highly recommend getting yourself a combination ski brush and cork, the cork on the bottle does not hold up to the pressure you need to apply to buff the wax in.

Rub on wax
I think it worked well for rub on wax! Slippery very slippery in the initial use obviously it wore as time went on and runs were made. Fast speed and quick easy application. Value good. Longevity good. No smell.

works great, add some heat to apply
I just tried this for the first time, applied to a pair of keys that badly needed wax. It is a bit tough to apply and spread but I found that if you use a hair dryer to heat up the wax a little before you spread it, it goes on easier. I also used the hair dryer as I was working the wax into the ski base with the cork, and it went very quickly. I skied about 20,000 vertical feet in 30 degree weather. The skis moved nicely on the snow, and there was still wax on the bases when I was done. This is great stuff to use in between hot waxes.

This is a shortcut, get a proper iron waxing if you care about performance
Avoid shortcuts and get your board or skis waxed the right way. This is a very plastic-y wax that doesn’t spread well. When you apply pressure it breaks and leaves clumps caked on the surface. No amount of buffing with the cork can spread the resulting wax clumps, so I had to remove a lot of what I had involuntarily applied and buff the remnants until it was smoothly coated. I then found myself getting stuck on flatter catwalks and trails that my group was easily overcoming. I will give credit, after a day of boarding the wax was still present, so I won’t recommend for performance, only for preserving your equipment

Easy to use, effective, and affordable!
I had a last minute trip planned with some of my friends to go snowboarding and was kind of in a tough situation. My board hadn't been waxed in a long time, and the last mountain trip I had stripped all of the wax off my board and even damaged it quite a bit since the terrain was rocky. Last minute, of course, meaning I didn't have time to refer to my usual means to get it done. I was skeptical that this little tube could do what I needed but it was my *only* hope.It came the day I was leaving, thankfully. I took it to the mountains and was able to use it the day before we hit the slopes. Imagine my shock at seeing that this small green tube of wax completely got my board in perfect shape in a matter of like 30 minutes. I didn't need to heat the wax at all, either. I just cleaned the bottom of my board and rubbed the wax in, then I used to the cork to buff it out.I'd argue that an amazing, 5 star product is all of these things: fairly priced, relatively simple to use, and absolutely effective at what its intended to do. This product meets and exceeds all of these categories. I would recommend it to anyone.

Easy to apply for quick wax top up
Generally an easy hassle free application.Applied the day before and was happily surprised with the difference in performance.Tip: Don't need to over apply as most will be scraped/rubbed off. A little goes a long way. Use an old blue scourer to rub off excess at the end.
