All of my pets and even the strays, get great results from this product. It’s perfect to clear any bugs prior to monthly treatment, especially if there’s any access to outside or neighborhood critters where a hungry bug can jump on em. It’s not a monthly treatment, it does clear your pet of any fleas within about 24 hours, but doesn’t last longer. Use to debug, then give monthly treatment, or use it when there’s a stubborn flea that the monthly treatment isn’t taking care of.

My dog got fleas from my family visit. Purchased this, it arrived on a Monday and by Tuesday afternoon my dog was no longer scratching and miserable. I love the fact you can re treat your dog if needed. The pill size is a bit bigger than expected but it goes down nicely with a chunk of cheese.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve seen a huge difference in the amount that my pup has been itching/biting himself. It’s a great quick acting temporary solution. I normally do the topical treatment from this company and I unfortunately forgot for a month. Hoping this will get rid of the issue until the topical can be reapplied!Tick resistance:Seems to be working already! My vet requires all dogs and cats who are boarded overnight get 1 on check in day and 1 on check out day. They said it kills the active fleas but if you have an infestation may take several doses over a period of time to get the eggs that haven't hatched yet. At first they may become a little more itchy as the fleas start dying. But goes to work killing fleas in 30 minutes and supposed to kill all active adult fleas on them within 4 hours. It gives them so much relief. I do use a flea prevention treatment for my dog but missed a dose and that's when we he got them and brought them in and spread it to my kitties. I still need to treat the pets bedding, and places they like to lay. A flea outbreak can really get out of hand. Was so glad that this time I knew what to do jumped on amazon and ordered a pack of the 6 for my dog and pack of 6 for my cats.

I rarely ever write reviews (this is my 2nd one), however I feel like people should be warned when it comes to their pets. I wish I could give this one -100! For starters, it is NOT the same as Capstar, like I wrongly assumed & someone mentioned below. It’s not even a dupe, because at least that one actually works, and my dogs only have to take it once a week. My poor dogs are scratching & itching even WORSE than before I gave it to them. It’s as if they jumped in a pool of fleas or something, that’s how bad they’re scratching, itching, biting, and even whimpering now. I feel so bad for buying this and giving it to them.This is one item where the negative reviews are legit and definitely a warning. DON’T get this, it’s worth it to pay a little extra for Capstar or a better short term alternative, which is what I ended up doing because my poor dogs are too miserable to even eat now.The only reason I’m having to give them this is to hold them over short-term while I am waiting on the monthly prescription flea meds from the vet to arrive. My dogs were annoyed with the itching here & there before taking this, however now they’re just miserable afterwards. Instead of it working in 30 minutes, they’re intensely itching every 30 minutes or less for the entire day. I’ve never seen them respond to fleas like this at all until taking this. DO NOT BUY!!!

Not a bad product. Gave it to my dog and he didn't itch for 24hrs. Although, it's only a 24hr medication. There are 6 pills for a total of 6 days prescription.For the price, should be a months worth. There are plenty of other products that last a month for the price.

My little dog Korra was suddenly covered in fleas and I needed a quick solution. She has never had this big of a flea problem before so I was pretty panicky. Within 30 minutes of giving her a tablet, I could actually see fleas dropping off. I love that it’s an oral treatment, so there’s no messy application or lingering odors. She luckily didn’t have any side effects and it was such a relief to see her stop scratching almost immediately. While this isn’t a long-term preventative, it’s absolutely essential for instant relief. However, I did use this concurrently with a flea prevention spray. So I really do believe both together was key in it helping stop or decrease the flea bites. I now keep a pack on hand just in case we ever run into flea trouble again. I love that it is safe for frequent use where you can give it daily if needed for any infestation problems.
