I couldn't find an exact fit for my ancient dryer, but I made this work. As you can see from my photos, I clipped the end terminals off, wrapped the wire around the copper posts, and kind of just sandwiched it between the two halves of the intake tube. I like that this kit includes the thermostat and other doodads so you can replace all of it in one go and not have to worry about the next thing burning out a week later. I also like that the seller includes an insert warning of common installation errors to look out for.So far this coil assembly is working great despite my hacksmanship! I will update in a year or so.

It WORKED!!!! I had ordered a heating element from another seller and it was the worst experience. This product was spot on and the seller even included a note that indicated the solution to the most common complaint, which was awesome! I'm a 63 year old woman on disability and can't afford to buy a new dryer. This heating element package came with everything I needed. Thank you!

I believe I got the last one from eBay but I guess one of the sensors went out. Unfortunately I couldn't test to see so I just replaced everything and it's working Fine. Hopefully it will last a Couple yrs at least but hoping for longer. Fit was perfect and it's working well.

Just installed this on my Samsung DV218AEB-XAA dryer. Perfect match and functions properly.Thank God for prime next day shipping. Very easy install. I did not use the hi/low limit switches or thermal fuse etc since my original ones are still testing good. I also reused my original wiring leads.. I just used pliers to crimp down slightly on my original ones to give a more secure connection.Make sure you clean out/vacuum the lint/dust from the ducting and inside machine cabinet while you're in there. Also be certain none of the heating element is touching the casing.Not sure on longevity of this item but I purchased a different brand version and it lasted about 4-5yrs.If your exhaust ducting has too much of a bend or is too restrictive. It will cause premature death of element because the moisture in exhaust. Install took about 30 min with me also cleaning ducting and inside cabinet.

Second one I’ve ordered. Replaced the first one a little over two years ago. Went out again. This time I was going to replace the fuse and thermostat at the same time. However when I did the dryer still wasn’t heating. Took it apart again and used a multimeter to test each component. The new fuse wasn’t working. So I just replaced it with the old fuse. After that it worked great. So I’ll probably be buying another one of these in two years or so. It sucks that Samsung doesn’t make higher quality materials to prevent this.

Super fast delivery. Took dryer apart morning found issue, ordered element and received that evening. Part fit and operated perfectly saving hundreds. Dryer repaired by 8pm Sunday evening. Simple instruction for trouble shooting and repairs found on YouTube. Anyone can do this!!!!!!

Installed 2 days ago. Working so far. Comes with an instruction sheet that warns against the common installation failure - allowing the element to touch the frame. Always check that there is NO CONTINUITY between either connector and the housing. Other than that piece of advice, it only contained links to various YouTube videos that were somewhat useful.
